Phong is a motivated business professional with over 30 years experience as a successful entrepreneur. He’s a natural leader and analytical problem solver. Phong has led numerous start-up business efforts to success. His strengths in administration and process improvement have resulted in an impressive level of organizational efficiency, business and sales operation streamlining, cost reduction and return on investment. 

Phong is also a compassionate health educator, certified American Red Cross CPR instructor and personal trainer, whose friendly style and vast knowledge-base keeps his staff and clients highly satisfied and at the top of their game. Motivated with endless passion to end homelessness, he intends to take his TranZen Homestead plans statewide, with a run for Governor of California in 2026!  That's correct!  Phong is running because he has plans to solve our crisis.

Backstory

As a child refugee, Phong suffered a great deal of despair, homelessness and starvation after the fall of Saigon, Vietnam, in 1975. He and his family of 10 and 3 cousins, traveled an agonizing, months-long immigration, cramped-up like sardines in a fishing boat with little food and water. Robbed and raided four different times by Thai Pirates on the open seas, they lost most of their valuables which they were planning on using to start their new lives. 

They were then shipwrecked and stranded on a deserted island called 'July' for some time, until the US Military spotted them, rescued them and provided salvation for them on a US controlled island called 'Bidong'.  Phong’s family eventually settled in LA, but the struggles didn’t stop there.  They were now in a brand new world, a strange culture and a completely different language of which they knew nothing of. 

Through tremendous struggle, resourcefulness and perseverance, Phong and his family worked really hard (dumpster diving, in the early days, to collect recyclables to sell and earn money) and studied really well (Phong was the first to attend a Major University, UCLA) to overcome these harsh conditions.  And as a result, over 40 years later, they are all fully integrated into the American Life and are enjoying healthy, comfortable and happy lives. From those triumphant moments that culminated into the tremendous success story that it is, Phong’s mission is now to help others in need with smart, logical and proven methods . And he does this with great dedication, passion and intensity.

History of success in marketing, sales, and communications. Passionate about writing, website design/development, analytics, and video production. At TranZen Homestead, Renee is making good use of her skills in all of the above, along with a lot of passion, to make this effort to end homeless a success. 

Backstory

Born with crippling hip dysplasia, adopted as a child, and losing all hearing in her right ear due to an injury, Renee had to undergo some supreme challenges to land on her feet. Waving an untethered determination to succeed, Renee went on to become a nationally competitive gymnast for 16 years, receiving a full gymnastics scholarship to an NCAA Division 1 university, and serving as team captain.

Results-driven professional with over 20 years experience in athletics, business ownership, and customer service. James excels in the areas of communication, interpersonal relationship building, and problem-solving, with an exceptional ability to maintain a positive work environment and make others feel comfortable. 

Backstory

Once an accomplished gymnast, bodybuilder, and gym owner, James is now adjusting to his new normal life with Parkinson's Disease. Once co-workers in a gym with Phong Tran, he's now working with Phong on the fight to end homelessness, and serves as a personal trainer and nutritionist for others with disabilities at TranZen Homestead.
